Someone nearby can cover one thing.

A hot meal. A wash. A bus ride. That's all Cover is: a neighbor, a local shop, and one thing covered.

Fair questions

Every doubt, answered by how it's built.

01

Where does my money actually go?

Only to what you chose: the needs and items you picked, bought at approved local businesses in the five cities. Never cash. You hear about it every time your help is used.

02

Do they really need it?

Everyone on Cover is confirmed by a local group that knows them, a food bank, a shelter, a clinic, a senior center, or by a video call with the Cover team.

03

Is it cash?

No. A neighbor shows a pass, the store rings up the item at its normal price within the item's limit, and Cover pays the store every Friday. No cash, gift cards, lottery, alcohol, tobacco or cannabis.

04

Am I helping, or keeping someone stuck?

Cover covers the basics only: meals, groceries, laundry, a bus ride, a coat. The things that make the next step possible. Every item has a fair limit, and weekly limits fit each household.

05

What do local businesses get?

New customers who shop like anyone else, their normal register price less a discount they give Cover, and payment every Friday.

06

When and where?

2027, in Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, Longmont and Boulder. Then the Denver metro in 2028.

Hold to cover

Press and hold. That's all a gift takes.

Keep your finger down and watch the street change. Let go, and some of the light stays.

Covered. A hot meal, and a few weeks later, a bench, a coffee and a name tag.

Sam asks for what he needs.

On Cover Pass, Sam picks from everyday things. No forms, no line. Donors never see his name.

A rough spot to a bright one

It's never one big thing. It's the next small one.

A bus ride to the shift. A wash so the week starts clean. A hot meal on the night there isn't one. Cover covers the small things that keep a family moving.

The bus. Two fares, covered.
The laundromat. A wash, covered.
A morning that's just a morning.
One tap on three phones

A hot meal, on every phone it touches.

Alex gives. Sam shows a pass. Rosa's Café hands over the meal. No forms, no cash, no names.

  1. Alex opens Cover and taps Give again.
  2. Alex gives $50 for food and drink near Fort Collins. The gift waits for someone nearby.
  3. Days later, Sam shows the pass at Rosa's Café: a QR code and the code K7Q-42.
  4. Rosa's sees only what's on the pass, and taps Hot meals.
  5. Rosa's asks. Nothing is used until Sam says yes.
  6. Sam reads "Hot meal, $10.50 of up to $12. You pay nothing." and taps Yes, that's right.
  7. Covered. Sam gets the meal. Rosa's is paid on Friday.
  8. A few hours later, Alex hears about it: the thing, the kind of place and the city. Never a name.
